The 19th session of the National plate and strip production technology, information exchange and technology and development of strategic cooperation with the High-Level Forum was convened in 12-13 September in Yixing City, Jiangsu Province. The meeting was hosted by the National Information Network plate and strip sub-network, together with Maanshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Gongchang Roll Co., Ltd.. It nearly 200 units from all parts of manufacture plants, the relevant departments, institutions, the design of research institutions and related businesses units attended the meeting. The  relevant leaders from State Council General Office, Finance Department, China Steel Industry Association, Yixing City party committee and government were invited to attend the meeting.

The opening ceremony is in charge of assistant chief engineer Mr. Su Shihuai.  Deputy General manager Mr.Jing Yi gave a welcome speech. Mr. Shi Jun of China rolling information network, Mr. Wang Zhongsu, Mr. Huang Xumang of Metallurgy industry association, Mr. Hu Shijhui of Technology Center and Mr. Li Quan of Ministry of Finance make special speech separately in the conference.

The present Zhang ChangFu of CISA makes a special topic about “The current situation and development about steel industry”; China steel rolling information net makes a speech about “The wide sheet production situation from 2007 to first half of 2008 and the future market requirements”; the chief professor Mr. Liu Yazheng makes a special topic about”The quality control theory and technology progress in hot strip mill products”; The professor Yu Shida of Iron & Steel Research Institute makes a speech of “Current situation and development for China roll industry”; Wu Han Steel, Ben Xi Steel, Ma Anshan Steel and other companies’ specialists exchange the information about manufacturing technique, variety development and quality control; An Hui Tai Er Company introduce its technique.

This conference received 62 pcs papers and compile and print, and the conference evaluated and honored the award-winning papers.

This conference adopted following forms, such as report, speech or papers to exchange, which obtain well effect.
