Recently, the company organized the democratic assessment work to all of the middle and above cadres. It’s the important reference that the company inspected the middle management personnel. The assessment team carefully arranged the personnel composition, content and order of evaluation. The content of assessment included personal moral accomplishment, paying attention to the interests of the whole, lateral communication and coordination, paying attention to their own learning, enhancing the ability, personal achievements, self-discipline and comprehensive evaluation. Each assessment was divided into excellent, good, favorable and poor. The staff read carefully and filled in the assessment form. The democratic assessment had three features as follows: First, the evaluation personnel were broadly representative. The subject involved all the staff that formed different teams according to the work of people who were evaluated. Second, the assessment was in a secret way. There were over ten times from departments. It showed fairness. Third, the vice secretary of the Party Branch Mr. Zhang personally talked to each middle-level cadres and helped to find gaps. The leaders from different departments also deeply reviewed the existing problems with their subordinates. It’s the best assessment to the medium and senior of the company since it established. It’s one action for the company to implement democratic management. As the general manager Mr. Shao emphasized at the evaluation mobilization meeting: The importance of the assessment was first of all the need of the company development. That the company was into such scope wasn’t by one charming person to manage. It needed more staff to participate together. Secondly, it’s the need for the enterprise culture construction. The core competitive ability of the company was to put its culture into the heart of every management personnel, then let all the staff identify with it. Thirdly, it showed to the enterprise management, especially in the democracy of personnel system. The company hoped to promote the employees who had both morality and ability, supported by others to the medium and senior management posts.
